Steps to Renovating your Kitchen with LaFata Cabinets

Updated: Jun 15

At LaFata Cabinets, we make renovating your kitchen a seamless process. The goal at LaFata Cabinets is to create your dream kitchen in just a few easy steps. From custom cabinets, to countertops, to flooring, LaFata is able to do as little or as much as you need. Begin your process, and watch your dream kitchen come to life by following these three easy steps!

Schedule a Free In-Home Estimate

The first step into renovating your kitchen is to contact LaFata to set up a free in-home estimate. That is where we have one of our highly trained designers come out to your home to take measurements of the area. At that time they will take basic wall measurements, as well as go over different design and layout options. Our designers will then bring your measurements back to our facility, where we will then begin the quoting process. To schedule a free in-home estimate, call or text us at (586)247-1140.

Meet with a Designer

Once all of your information is back at our facility, you will receive an introductory call from your designer. They will then take a look at your file, draw a design, as well as quote out the project for you. They will then invite you into our showroom. The highly trained designers will utilize their expertise to give you plenty of ideas to create your dream kitchen. At that time, they will show you the quote, as well as review the layout and design. They will browse the cabinetry colors and stains with you, and all of our various door styles. Our designers will help you create the look you are going for.

Place your Order

Once your order is finalized and you are content with the design, you are ready to place your order. Once the deal is signed, we will begin manufacturing your cabinets. All of our cabinets are manufactured right here at our Shelby Twp location. LaFata Cabinets provides an incredibly durable finished product as we use a flat line finish system. LaFata Cabinets are hand crafted in our very own factory. Our cabinet makers have years of expertise in the industry. Much of the work we do is done by hand. Sanding, scuffing, staining and detail finish work is meticulously done by skilled hands. We also blend in the most modern technology to help make precise cuts, apply certain paints and topcoats evenly, and to bake on the durable finish we are known for.

Once your cabinets are finished, we then are able to deliver them to your home, and we can even install them for you. All you have to do is sit back and watch as your dream kitchen begins to come to life!
